Option for location switching gone

The option in settings for the iOS version to have Next DNS turn on/off based on network is gone. Now I have to turn it on/off manually.  Can that feature be put back?

I am also on 2.01.  This may be related to iOS 15.  Latest beta I think conflicts.   Noticed my VPN will no longer work in Wireguard mode either.

TNPapa Same issue here on the latest iOS 15 Beta. I had an excluded network visible in my list and tried to remove it as a test, but then the whole section disappeared and now I can't add it again. Dooooooh 😖 Let's hope this will be fixed as iOS 15 release is only weeks away...

Jörgen Damn. I'm always nervous when Apple introduces bugs in a beta this far in. Sometimes that means waiting a year for the next major release...

Chris Not sure if this was introduced with the latest Beta or earlier. I saw the current NextDNS iOS app is 7 months old, so probably needs an update.

The new "Private Relay" function in iOS 15 is also not compatible with NextDNS, so let's hope the team is working hard to fix these issues. I read they have a dialogue with Apple, but nothing about their progress.

Jörgen this is on Apple side. It will be fixed with the next seed.

I decided to skip the iOS app for now until it's updated/fixed and instead using a configuration profile from https://apple.nextdns.io/. There is the option to exclude Wifi-networks and pretty much the same config as in the app, so it works really well on iOS 15. Just a tips... 😎

Ah, perfect.  No need for the app now as I want this to run on everything except when I am home. At home I have a local solution.

No issue at all with captive portals.  I use one everyday at work.

Is there an ETA for a fix? Is it fixed in beta?

I’m running the iPad OS 15.1 public beta (should be PB 2 by now) and the option to exclude WiFi networks has returned, both in NextDNS and in NordVPN as well. Looks like this issue will be fixed in iOS/iPadOS 15.1.
