NextDNS and Virtualbox

I'm trying out NextDNS but the client does not work for me on windows 10. (It does work on Android)

I believe it has something to do with virtualbox.  Because I tied the client out using a Windows 11 virtual machine, and that works just fine.

So I configured NextDNS in my windows 10 browser (Bravw) and that also works.

I would like to use the client so I can test NextDNS system wide. Any ideas?
