Use Router DNS when at home, NextDNS otherwise

Hi, has anybody found a way to exclude NextDNS from home WiFi? I have AdGuard Home so I only need NextDNS if I am using cellular data or any other WiFi.

I see on Apple devices an SSID can be excluded, but what about Android, Windows and Linux?

On Linux I know about this way of forcing DNS on all networks: https://andrea.corbellini.name/2020/04/28/ubuntu-global-dns/ maybe there are other configs to tell the system: use NextDNS as default, except use local DNS provider when connected to this SSID.

Same on Android?

I too would like to know the situation here.

I am looking at moving to Android from iPhone and currently, this is a feature that I rely on with iOS. It seems this feature has been overlooked for Android.

When I am at home I have my own internal DNS servers that I need to use for the devices/services I run. My internal DNS servers then upstream to NextDNS so at home I don't need the app active.

Currently on Android you can use the native "Private DNS" feature but, like the Android NextDNS app, this also does not support network exclusions.

Why was this feature left out of the Android app? Is it something that is "coming soon" perhaps?
