Could someone explain me how Netflix works with NextDNS or maybe just Apple TV ?

Okay so I have a profile on my Apple TV, everything is going fine except when I use Netflix, and only this app,  on the Apple TV, the domain pass trough the profile and add an other name to it based on my ISP, based on the domain name : I guess that Netflix only works with IPv6 ? Btw, that does not happen when using Netflix on an other device

    What exactly goes wrong with Netflix, any error codes?

    Also do you have an IPV6 connection on the device?

      R P M No error codes, everything works fine. I just don't understand why it appears on an other device with a name based on my ISP and only for Netflix. For IPv6, my ISP enable it by default and it cannot be modified. Maybe I should unlink my IP address, I'm a little confuse. Recently, I deleted all of my static address from the hosts file for avoiding that kind of some devices are created as unknown with nextDNS cli

      Johnny BOI btw, I don't know a "perfect" setup for my environment, is there a guideline for that ?

      Johnny BOI Well I’m seeing that particular subdomain for my connection but it’s nothing to do with our ISP. Maybe it’s just a coincidence that it’s similar to your ISP. Also I don’t have any IPV6 connection setup on the device that DNS lookup shows up on.

      Johnny BOI Finding a “perfect” setup is really subject to peoples requirements. So one person’s setup might not be right for someone else. 
       

      The only way is to try things out and see what works best for you. 

      I’m currently trying out AdGuard Home in front of the NextDNS CLI. It doesn’t seem to pass on device names currently but can get around it by setting custom upstream DNS for each device.
