URL-Rewrites for subdomains not working

I'm using multiple url rewrites to local IPs for subdomains of my domain that shouldn't be publicly accessible.

From the start I noticed the *. before every (sub-)domain in the list. I assume my rewrites don't work because it only rewrites "*.gibberish.domain.tld", but not "gibberish.domain.tld". Is there a way to also rewrite "gibberish.domain.tld" to the local ip without adding "domain.tld" as a whole to the rewrites? I also have publicly accessible sites on a few subdomains of that domain which should not be rewritten.
