Cloudflare takes over

I have my iPhone running the NextDNS profile, my router is running one too  yet now suddenly on my home WiFi it says my phone uses Cloudflare as a resolver?!? How come when everything is configured to NextDNS and it worked earlier just fine

thanks

Are you using iCloud Relay? Try turning it off and check again!

Where do you see this message? On NextDNS dashboard or other site DNS leak test? Make sure DoH (sometimes called Secure DNS) in your browser is either disabled or manually set to your NextDNS DoH address.

      Martheen

Hi Martheen, I see it on this test site:

      https://browserleaks.com/dns

Secure DNS is disabled in my browser settings.

Do you get the same result in dnscheck.tools? There's another post here that mention only browserleaks report Cloudflare result, while other sites just say it's NextDNS. Could be browserleaks have faulty detection logic.

No, I didn't get the same result on dnscheck.tools. Strange.
