Different browser profiles aren't respecting system level NextDNS setting in Windows 11

Browser Name: Brave Beta
Version: 1.62.130 Chromium: 120.0.6099.199 (Official Build) beta (64-bit)
I have two profiles on this browser. DNS settings in both of them look like the screenshot below:
I have configured NextDNS on Windows 11 using the recommended method mentioned below
but when I visit test.nextdns.io through both the profiles, I find different results
On one profile, I get "protocol": "UDP", while on the other it says "protocol": "DOH".
I have tested with the fresh Firefox install on my system without any configuration and it shows DOH when testing this.
Can anyone here please help me out and solve this.

The browser's default secure DNS setting isn't reliable to use NextDNS DoH, it's only hardcoded to link certain IP with specific DoH provider, which by definition can't include your personal NextDNS profile. Manually enter your DoH address as custom.

Could you try the following and report back?
In Chrome or any other chromium-based browser, go to the flags page (chrome://flags).
Disable "Async DNS resolver".
Restart the browser.
It should now work. If it doesn't, could you post here what https://test.nextdns.io says in that browser?Disclaimer: I think this flag has been removed from the recent version of Chromium (121.0.6167.85, 64-bit). If it's not present in your case, then @r_p_m 's suggestion is the right way to solve this issue.
