Change Nextdns Server Location.

Is there anyway to change the server where my dns requests are being sent to?

I don't trust servers located in my home country. I am certain my requests are being snooped upon by the local government.

Can you clarify further if this claim is false?

I have a feeling that NextDns has been bought.

If you think NextDNS has been bought by your government, what makes you think they won't just hand over your log wherever you're located? After all, you can access your log from anywhere in the world.

Even if you use a super-secure-privacy DNS and visit HTTPS sites, the domain is mostly still sent in the plain text due to SNI unless the site supports ECH. To avoid that, you'd need an actual VPN/Tor, and at that point, you might as well have your own recursive resolver.

I run my own VPN Server using OpenVPN AS Self-Hosted version 2.10.1

    I tunnel NextDNS through it.
