Updating NextDNS CLI on Gli.net/OpenWRT router

I'm trying to update the NextDNS CLI from 1.37 to the latest version, 1.43. I'm following the directions here: https://github.com/nextdns/nextdns/wiki/OpenWRT

The installer works, but the problem appears to be  that the installer is pulling not from NextDNS, but from a built in repo, which only has version 1.37 so it will only install that version. When you run the installer again, it gives you the option to update to 1.43, but again, once run it only pull from the repo which just installs 1.37.

I've completely removed the package and run the installer fresh with the same results.

Is there a way to force install from a different source?
