VMware Nedwork adapter overriding NextDNS?

ON a Win10 machine that runs a vm Via VMware workstation, and also just started running IVPN configured to use NextDNS as DNS resolver. It haso has ProtonVPN installed but turned off

The network runs through Ipfire firewall that has NextDNS as the configured  DNS resolver and has a number of other devices

Nextdns shows a number of log entries from IPfire so is operating

Looking at DNS Servers on this Win10  machine i have 4 (If IVPN is running)
a 10.0 address wich is IVPN
a 192.168 address, firewall with DNS pointing to nextdns
2 identicle IPV6 addresses that point to cloudfare and seem to be related to VMware network Adapters.

DNS lookups from the Win10 machine with IVPN connected, do not log in the NextDNS log indicating that Cloudfare  is being used to reslove DNS.

Investigating further, If i run no VPN or  ProtonVPN instead of IVPN on this machine it also resolves DNS via Cloudfare even if i link the IP Address in the NextDNS page

Does anyone have any thoughts on how to get all DNS lookups to go via NextDns with this setup?
