NextDNS on Android blocking apps and websites that never used to be blocked before

I've been using NextDNS on my Android device for a year now, and apart from crushing overnight and requiring a restart, haven't had an issue until a few weeks ago.

At first, I noticed that some links from newsletters are blocked, and that was confirmed as a tracking link, even though the website is legitimate. But then I encountered an issue today were my banking app and the Spotify app are both blocked while NextDNS is on.

While I am able to add domains to the Allowlist, how can I add apps? or is it a matter of just listing the domain corresponding to the app?
