Visiting NextDNS users
I set up my home router to use NextDNS as its resolver. Since I have a dynamic IP, I make sure to keep it updated in NextDNS using the https endpoint specific to my account. I set up filtering for my home network the way I want it.
Another NextDNS user sets up DoT with their own account on their smartphone.
What happens if this other user connects to my router? Will they be restricted by my filtering rules, because they are coming from my external IP? Or will they get their own rules because they are sending DNS queries to their own NextDNS DoT endpoint?
Does NextDNS look at source IP when processing DoT requests?

Link IP is only used for unencrypted IPv6 DNS. All other methods including unencrypted IPv6 are ignoring link IP. Keep in mind that link IP is also specific to a single destination IP, so even if this user would use IPv4 with link IP, they would most likely use a different destination IP (the last number of the IP would be different) and thus it would still not conflict.
