Avahi and NextDNS with pfSense

Anyone have luck installing NextDNS and using Avahi at the same time on pfSense? After I uninstalled NextDNS from pfSense I was able to get Avahi to work again. Are there any modifications to the NextDNS install I can make so it will work with Avahi? I’m using the terminal app on a Mac to install NextDNS if that makes a difference
