This device is using NextDNS with no profile
Hello all,
I am getting this error all of the sudden. Nothing has changed on my end. I have reconfigured everything from scratch, same issues.. I have always registered with DNS servers and link your IP. No access to App.
If I switch to a different IP and link it, it all works. Going back to my network IP, fails.
I see this has been reported many times before, no real solutions from searches.
PS: I Cannot believe there is no even email support for paid customers.

I’ve noticed the same on my iPhone. It’s really weird. Sometimes it’s working just fine, and all of a sudden it stops working again. For example if I switch from wlan to mobile it’s working. After a few minutes I have the no profile error. If I switch now back to wlan it’s working again.
I’ve recreated and reinstalled the profile already, didn’t help either.
Having this issue since today.

I would like to note that I have also had the problem since today, without having changed anything in the configuration. Among others, an iPhone and a Mac mini are affected. Both show the same error. If I leave the Wifi and go online via the mobile network, it works - at least for a while. Both devices have loaded the configuration file created via https://apple.nextdns.io/.
Output when it doesn't work:
{ "status": "ok", "protocol": "DOH", "client": "2003:e7:1720:cd00:1525:f0bf:XXXX:XXXX", "srcIP": "2003:e7:1720:cd00:1525:f0bf:XXXX:XXXX", "anycast": false, "server": "zepto-fra-1", "clientName": "apple-profile", "deviceName": "XXXX", "deviceModel": "Apple iPhone14,3" }
And when it's working:
{ "status": "ok", "protocol": "DOH", "profile": "fp08b550eb1bead287", "client": "2a01:598:91b1:ab9d:e5e2:384b:XXXX:XXXX", "srcIP": "2a01:598:91b1:ab9d:e5e2:384b:XXXX:XXXX", "anycast": false, "server": "anexia-fra-1", "clientName": "apple-profile", "deviceName": "XXXX", "deviceID": "FU24P", "deviceModel": "Apple iPhone14,3" }
Update: if I use the NextDNS app on the Mac, then it works fine. So just the profile doesn't work as expected. Both, the iPhone and the Mac mini, have the latest updates installed.

Can you both try again? We might have identified/fixed the issue.

Thanks to all.. I fixed my issue yesterday, setting up IPv6 as end points.
