Entered DNS servers into my router but shows zero traffic?
I want to take baby steps trying out NextDNS, so I signed up for an account and then just entered my DNS addresses from the "Linked IP" section of the NextDNS setup page into my router.
No blocklists or whitelists or anything, I intended to let all traffic through and just see what is happening on my network.
But it's been a whole day now with lots of internet use on my network, and when I go to Analytics tab, I see zero traffic. Nothing.
Is this normal behavior? What do I need to do to get NextDNS to see and analyze my traffic?
By the way, my router is an Ubiquiti Unifi if that makes any difference.

Oops, nevermind! Actually in case it helps any newbies, I had just forgotten to "Link my IP" in that same section that shows the DNS servers. I thought that was a DDNS option but apparently you always have to do this even with a fixed IP.

Actually another update - I am getting some analytics but can't see any device names. Is this not possible with this method of just typing the NextDNS addresses into the DNS settings of the router?

You should start by reading https://help.nextdns.io/category/knowledge-base
https://my.nextdns.io/setup - scroll down - Identify your devices - works with the apps, DoH, DoT... not with IPv4 and IPv6.
If possible use NextDNS.io/cli or other ways which use DoH / DoT.
