Unable to connect to most Public WiFi access points when NextDNS Active on Android

Hi.

I can see from previous posts that this question comes up a bit but i see no actual fix that an Android user can do when they don't have access to the router controls.

I can connect to some without issue. o2 WiFi usually works ok but Costa Coffee and Nando's refuse to give internet until NextDNS is turned off defeating the point.

Is there a way to use NextDNS on an Android phone and connect to the public WiFi points that seem to not allow it.

P.S. sorry if i missed a "fixed" post but cannot see one currently.
