UniFi CLI VLAN Config and Restarts/Firmware Upgrades

I'm almost ready to install the NextDNS CLI client on my UniFi EFG to help better identify clients.

I was looking at the article here: https://github.com/nextdns/nextdns/wiki/Conditional-Profile

Are these conditional profiles set from the command line or is there a file they are entered into?

Will this persist with a reboot, or does this need to be run every time the gateway is restarted, firmware upgraded, etc.?

Also, does this use DoH, DoH3, or DoT?

When you enter the conditional command (line) it will be stored in the config file.

The CLI uses DoH and I think there is a file stored for the config (with router type devices). Whether the config file persists after reboots I’m not certain, it may do. The main issues I have seen posted here are installs going missing after a router firmware update.

How often is the CLI package updated after a UniOS firmware upgrade?  I'm really concerned about a CLI package breaking with a firmware update and causing an outage while I'm away from home.

Maybe set up another device as DNS backup server?
