Using NextDNS with another profile
Hi, when I'm logged into NextDNS, it shows "This device is using NextDNS with another profile." This other profile must be the one I first set up with NextDNS, but I'm unable to log into it - and having set up a new profile, I guess directing it to the same endpoints just used the old profile? Help! Any 'forgotten password' for the email address I used didn't send an email, so I'm really in the dark here about what to do next... help appreciated.

I just started using NextDNS yesterday, so iam not yet fully familiar with all the terminology. But I did setup another profile and see the message you shared. Once you login to https://my.nextdns.io/ the profile selection is a drop-down on the top of the page that you can select from to switch to another the profile. Also for dns over tls or https, each profile will have a slightly different url with a profile identifier on the url which decides the profile that's in use. Hope this is what you were looking for.

What Satheesh said. What is happening is you probably have a 2nd DNS resolver setup that your computer is falling back to that is associated with that other profile on your account.
Like for my stuff I have one local resolver on my pfsense and one on a colocated server I have in a datacenter. My PCs go back and forth between the two and since one profile is my house and the other is the datacenter and I select for instance the datacenter profile in my.nextdns.io control panel when my computer is using the local pfSense resolver, it will say I'm currently using the other profile.
This is pretty normal behavior for this kind of setup. Otherwise you're going to have to throw everything into the same profile and use their devices configurations (See their docs) to distinguish between internal stuff.
