Same device shows up with two different names

Hello,

I'm trying to solve a problem with my configuration.

I'm using NextDNS installed with my router. So all wifi network works under NextDNS. It also identify devices with the names I put on router. Which is ok.

But on my MacBook Pro, when I check logs there are two different names. One comes from router, one comes from MacOS. I also installed MacOS profile and installed it to MacOs to able to use it on different networks.

Is there a solution for that? Even when i'm on home network, logs are coming from both device names randomly.

    If you are connecting via WiFi you can put an exclusion in a new profile to not use it on your home network. This requires you to generate a new profile to replace your current one that you’ve already installed. 
    If the connection is ethernet there is no way to exclude currently in the profile. Maybe disable the profile manually? Not ideal I know.
