Question regarding ping and optimal route when using NextDNS

Hi,

I've relatively recently started using the NextDNS Pro service and so far I'm really happy with it. But one question I'm concerned about is whether the ping I have is the lowest possible ping I can get? I've read a couple of discussions on the platform that the service doesn't always choose the 'optimal' route for all users, which can cause a higher ping than it would be if the 'optimal' route was chosen.
