Spotify for windows offline after nextdns setup

I set up the next dns servers on my router and setup up the windows client.  Everything is working but spotify app for some reason.  How can I fix?

      Already did it, no help.
      Checking Nextdns logs I don's see anything being blocked, but windows app still shows offline.

    I think I got it working.
    Spotify seems to be using Windows own network recognition service. My Network in taskbar show "No internet" with NextDNS enabled.

    Found solution by adding dns.msftncsi.com to the whitelist. Now both Windows and Spotify know I'm connected.

      What you mean by what setup?

      I installed the Windows application and added some whitelist links. Maybe tweaked some toggles but not sure which one.

    Had same issue.  Thanks to this thread I added the two entries as suggested.  Had to add my Brother printer as well as it would not update ROM.

    Fyi. Same with Soundcloud, thinks "Not available while you’re offline" and offers Reload, which doesn't work of course. Trying to whitelist.
