NextDNS and Firewalla

I am using a Firewall and  NextDNS via DoH as a custom DoH server on the Firewall. Periodically, NextDNS stops responding to DNS queries and I need to enable a different DNS service, which works immediately.

How can I troubleshoot this? I don’t really know where to start.

    Any update? I also use Firewalla and had to do the same and turn on Quad9 in addition to NextDns due to unresolved DNS errors.

    I ran into this a year ago, and stopped using NextDNS w/ Firewalla. Too slow.
