NextDNS client install fails on pfSense

I'm trying to install the client on a Netgate SG-1100 running pfSense 2.4.4-RELEASE-p2, and I'm getting an illegal instruction error during the initial INFO stage of the installer, as well as later when moving through the prompts. Ultimately the client does not install and 'nextdns' commands are not found. Here is the output from the first part of the install script run a second time after failed installation:

Illegal instruction (core dumped)

DEBUG: NextDNS is not installed

I'm running this as root, and the above was run under su.

Any assistance is appreciated!

    Could be your Netgate box as it installs on a Netgate 6100 without issue.
