Can I use NextDNS after Indonesia new rule?

tl;dr Company has to register to the government to not get blocked. More info https://kominfu.com/

I know that in the past Kominfo threated to block Chinese games and Tiktok, but to no avail.

Only time will tell, if they're really doing this.

    Based on the PSE registered list website, I know that google cloud already registered and it's one of the NextDNS server (I think)

    around 24 hours from now or tomorrow, the government will start blocking companies that have not registered. Like blocking cloudflare is a very stupid thing to do, because cloudflare has not registered. LMAO. you can find more here https://kominfod.angelo.fyi/
    today is supposed to be the second day that, companies are fined for not registering.

    I don't think it will impact NextDNS, if it was Google, Apple etc it would be an issue but. It's not such a huge target and it won't impact the presidency/ruling etc if they don't force them to register, so I don't think it's logical for them to go after NextDNS.

      Not targeting big company per se, but they want all company that have servies in Indonesia, which is kinda a stupid regulations to block that have not registered. I doubt they'll do it, but it just a precaution.

    last update, i think state owned isp just block steam (at the time of writing), and i still can open nextdns, and used it to bypassed the block.
