Having latency issue

Hi,

I'm trying out the service and considering subscribing.

On Apple devices (with the profile) the latency numbers are great, but on Windows (using the official app) the latency is just terrible.

They are all in the same network. Private relay is off.

It seems that on Windows it always tries to use servers in Europe or in the US, despite that I'm in Japan.

     Windows doesn't use nor support Apple's Private Relay.

     

    Test without NextDNS program. Windows11 supports already encrypted DNS natively.

      I'm just saying that the Apple devices are tested without private relay.

      I'll see if native DNS setting works better.

      Pretty much the same. It still connects to Europe servers.

    Just figured out that if I directly set up DoH in browsers they would use ultralow and the performance is great.

    System wide it's still like 130 to 300 ms and I couldn't find a way to make it use ultralow.
