Windows sometimes think it is offline

Sometimes when waking up from sleep my network icon thinks it is offline, and I have to disable, and then enabled nextdns again.

There seems to be an open issue in the their GitHub page with a potential fix(I think?) here. Don't know if it work for sure though.

It's about adding Global DNS option to the mechanism that maintains the Network Status Check Indicator (ncsi) taskbar icon.
