The DNS leak test shows many other DNS servers.

DoT NextDNS on Router.

I'm doing a dns leak test https://dnsleaktest.org/dns-leak-test and it shows an extensive list of addresses. *It may not happen the first time and you need to restart the test several times. Watch the video in the attachment. It also happens for example on this site https://whoer.net/dns-leak-test.

DoT Quad9 on Router

Nothing superfluous. Watch the video

*During the tests, the VPN was active on the router. But it doesn't change anything. Without a VPN, the exact same picture.

    dnsleaktest is a joke.

    Try this one https://browserleaks.com/dns

Will there be any explanation for this? Other than writing "This is a joke"

The answer of the NextDNS representative would be interesting. Or have all the tech support representatives gone into a long hibernation?

I don’t think they were saying your report was a joke, just that dnsleaktest.org was.

Please try the tests out from the following websites (obscure any identifying details where necessary):

    https://test.nextdns.io
    https://browserleaks.com/dns
    https://www.dnsleaktest.com (notice the different TLD)

According to these tests, everything is fine. But the question is still relevant.

Earlier, if I remember correctly. Such a "problem" was on https://www.dnsleaktest.com (Extended test) everything is fine now.

I received a response from technical support, a service for checking DNS leaks.
