Android Private DNS "Cannot connect"

Hi all,

I have the private dns setup as per my account, and it keeps disconnecting suggesting that it "cannot connect". This is on wifi, on 4g it seems to be ok or at least doesn't give me any errors.

Any clues as to why that may be?

    I’m seeing the same issue on a Pixel 6 and a Pixel 5a, on cellular or Xfinity. Changing to another DoT provider (AdGuard) or toggling NextDNS off fixes it.

    I have the same issue on a samsung tablet, I had to turn off DNS-over-TLS

    Thanks both. That does seem to be the issue. Pixel 6 Pro and to pixel devices. 

    Ive set my router to use the DNS servers instead.
