Latency is fine, resolution is not
I've been having significant issues with NextDNS over the last couple of months where, for extended periods of time repeatedly throughout the day, DNS becomes unresolvable and I am forced to disable NextDNS, at which point everything returns to being snappy and responsive. Oddly, though, there doesn't appear to be any network latency issue. Most requests hit my NextDNS server within 30ms. They're just not getting anything back, causing all the Internet-connected applications on my device to lock up. This suggests to me that network connectivity isn't the issue, but something with the DNS server itself — maybe high CPU load or something else that's causing it to queue requests for an eternity?

NextDNS just blocked my TV from accessing the Internet out of nowhere. I had to disable NextDNS as my base DNS in my router just to be able to get it working again.

My annual subscription is up in April. You have til then to sort your shit out @nextdns, because I'm not paying you to screw up my Internet service.
