Mi 4A Router issue

Ive been using nextdnsn premium for a year, now recently nextdns IPv4 not working on my MiWiFi Mi 4A Router. Is there any changes??? I never changed the details on my router for 2 years (1 year beta & a year premium). Tried changed use other dns like cloudflare it works fine.

Starting to think either my ISP block nexdns ipv4 dns or the opposite... Is there a way /tools to check this?

Any help please.

hernandy Use the NextDNS app on your phone or DNS Over HTTPS on your browser. My Carrier also blocked the TLS port so had to resort to that. There is nothing that NextDNS can really do if your ISP blocks it. With DNS over HTTPS they would have to basically block all HTTPS traffic or do some DPI (Deep Packages Inspection) etc to figure out so you should be fine. So just enable the Private DNS option on Chrome and install the App or do the same on Mobile it won't be on the router level but you don't have many options when your ISP does things like this.

Hey I know about DoH and DoT, its not convenience for my family :( only need a solution for router (for non tech savvy users like my parents). Im asking [questioning] because my ISP don't block other DNS providers.

hernandy Yeah it's all a bit weird but with built in support for Private DNS on Android for 9+ and latest IOS you should be able to set it up once and forget about it. Router is great since any device connected won't see ads but if you set it up that way you/they will be able to use it on their mobile data plan. Let's see what NextDNS says about the dig maybe there is a fix.
