Huge spike in queries

Hi,

I got suddenly, in 1 day, a huge spike in queries from one desktop computer all going to Avast. According to the graph these queries were made yesterday (feb 1st), but that computer was off the entire day.

I've used NextDNS since December 2022 and never had such huge spikes, until now.

What is going on?

    I noticed this to, daily, s crazy amount of queries to v7event.stats.avast.com .

    In the end it turned out the my Huawei P30 smartphones uses Avast AV embedded in the Optimize app. Sadly it cannot be disabled.

    I added v7event.stats.avast.com to the Allowlist and now the amount of queries has reduced significant.

    It seems it retries endlessly for a certain time when blocked.
