Add button on log screen to temporarily allow

Tons of emails I receive use tracking links and I often want to whitelist them for a short time so I can read the linked info.

I don't quite understand what this suggestion means, but if it's about a button to temporarily turn off ALL NextDNS blocking, I'm definitely for it. Especially on devices where you have NextDNS integrated within system settings and you can't just quit the app running on the background, this is very needed, and not just for emails. Sometimes a website doesn't load and you need to debug if it's NextDNS blocking it or another issue for example.

If you are using the NextDNS app, you can temporarily disable it, do what you need, then re-enable it.

Otherwise, I agree, to some sort of 30-seconds, 1 minute, 2-minute style PAUSE, but to ensure that we're keeping security in mind... I'd rather it NOT be on my entire config, but rather at the device-level.  Nothing worse, than globally pausing DNS filtering in order to do what you need to do and a family member get's compromized as as a result of your need on a single device.

The chalenge with such feature is that you might have arbitrary caches active on your router and/or devices for the entries you are trying to debug. You might have to wait quite some time for those caches to expire with no clear view on when it’s done and no easy way to clear or even identify all those caches.
